Women's Day - Introduction
International Women's Day, called the "United Nations Women's Rights and International Peace Day" in China, also known as "March" Women's Day, the United Nations International Women's Year in 1975, every year on March 8 to celebrate women in the economy, and other important contributions made by the political and social fields and the great achievements of the festival established. Women's Day - Origin
March 8, 1857, in New York's garment and textile workers held a protest against the inhumane working conditions, 12-hour work and low pay. Demonstrators besieged the police and the outcasts, two years later, again in March, these women organized the first union.
